Spyfish Aotearoa

Fancy doing some marine citizen science with this awesome new Zooniverse project.  You’ll be helping scientists better understand the diversity and abundance of life within the local marine environment and how well marine reserves are performing by counting the number and species of fish in footage captured using a baited underwater video (BUV).

The Guardians trust has been working in collaboration with DoC and the Spyfish Aotearoa team to capture BUV footage from Kāpiti marine reserve for the project.
